Gavlen i Hjerting: Esbjerg

The Ceiling: World family Fisterra Spain.

Wheels of Destiny was a 4 year project on a 60 Sq.m ceiling in Fisterra at the end of Camino de Santiago.

Henrik Constantin’s (artist/kunstner) idea was to bring all religions together with Galician legends and make a wheel of their wisdom.

Henrik Constantin (artist/kunstner) started the work in 2016 after he walked the camino Portuguese and moved to to Fisterra in 2017.

In 2017 he knew he had to do something where he had to depend on faith, so on an old woman’s bike, without money and only the absolute necessities, a story about the ceiling and permission to continue with the work from the people he met on his journey; he left Copenhagen.

The work was finished in November 2019.

The work can be seen at the World family in Fisterra, Spain.
